What kinds of images might you use to show your products?

Product photography comes in a wide variety of forms.

When I think of my favourite products, I can almost always recall seeing an enticing image of it before I considered buying it.

Whether the images are showing the features & benefits, the details of beautiful design or the way in which the product is to be used, there is almost always a need to connect visually with the product before emotion and desire are evoked.

I will try to show you a few of the ways in which you can share your product with the world.

Useful Stat:

"Visual content is 40 times more likely

to get shared on social media

than other types of content."

Here are a few examples of photoshoots that I have been carried out with the intention of highlighting and promoting a specific product for retailers and manufacturers.

As you can see, there are a variety of visual methods and styles that can be used to promote your products.

1. Photos of manufacturing process.

A simple image of the workstation where Bob from Ducker & Son used to repair Oxford's finest shoes, gives us an insight into the process and a story to imagine.

2. The "Hero Shot"

3. Lifestyle images of the product being enjoyed.

You can also show images of your product in their retail space.

As retailers and shopkeepers have put a great deal of effort into the design and layout of their product displays, I want to present your products to potential buyers in a visually enticing way.

I hope this has helped inspire you just a little.

These are just a few examples of what to consider.
